What comes with the new Kia Stinger GTS?
The last two years have been nothing short of pulse-pounding for dealerships like Kia of Mankato. When the first Kia Stinger arrived at the showroom, everyone could tell that this was going to be a very special vehicle that was also going to be a game-changer for fans of the automaker. During its time at the 2019 New York International Auto Show, Kia introduced a new higher-performance trim grade for its already high-performing fastback platform. So, what comes with the new Kia Stinger GTS? In addition to a more athletic silhouette, the Kia Stinger GTS will also eventually arrive at Kia of Mankato with the automaker’s Dynamic AWD technology. Let’s take a look at some of the features that buyers can expect to see when it goes on sale later this year.
The biggest difference between the new Stinger GTS and the models that have already been introduced is the drivetrain technology. Kia has described the D-AWD system as an, ‘…all-wheel-drive system peppered with rear-wheel drive DNA.’ Precision drivers know that which set of wheels drive a vehicle can greatly affect how it handles. The D-AWD system is designed to close the gap between rear- and all-wheel-drive handling characteristics.
A mechanical limited-slip rear differential has been added to the D-AWD model that will not only improve overall traction but will also distribute power more evenly when the system senses that a rear wheel is slipping.
