All New Kia K4 Debuts At New York Auto Show

Kia has been on a roll, designing and engineering some of the absolute best vehicles on the market. A Design Word From Kia

“Every contour, curve and detail of the K4 has been carefully considered and crafted to adhere to Kia’s design philosophy, Opposites United, bringing together clean faceted surfacing and technological details in a bold, cohesive statement. Every aspect further strengthens the relationship between brand and design,” said Karim Habib, Executive Vice President, and Head of Kia Global Design. “With the design of the K4, we are building on what we’ve learnt and making those values accessible to even more people, by bringing a product that is relevant and meaningful, to inspire the way they think, move and live.”

A Compact Sedan Engineered To Be The Best

The new compact four-door sedan will feature class-leading front and rear legroom, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and will be very fun to drive with its engines and multi-link rear suspension on GT-Line models. The K4 will feature standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 30 inches of digital instrumentation with the ability to view various surround-view cameras, an available Harmon Kardon sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, among other features that will help it stand out in the compact car crowd.

Trim Levels & Engines

The 2025 Kia K4 will be available in LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo trim levels, and feature the choice of two engines, a 2.0-liter making 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, or a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The standard 2.0-liter will be paired with an intelligently variable transmission (IVT), while the 1.6-liter will be combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

Incredible Safety Technology

Kia is putting safety first with the K4, which will include a host of unique safety features, including standard Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (SCC w/ S&G), and Forward Collision Avoidance 1.5 (FCA-1.5). To aid in alerting the driver, the steering wheel features haptic warnings. GT-Line Turbo models can be optioned with Forward Collision Avoidance 2 (FCA-2), which also utilizes the Evasive Steering Assist system, and the optional Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA-2). 

More Optional Safety Features

GT-Line K4 models will feature standard Blind Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and can have the available Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA-BCA) and Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM). An optional Surround-View Monitor Warning helps mitigate accidents and incidents by showing a 360-degree view of various parking situations. 

Availability

The 2025 Kia K4 will be available at Kia of Mankato starting in the second quarter of 2024 with a 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
